Hello
Currently the most time of my work I spent with the CoDeveloper. I learn to live with the most properties of the tool but the editor is awful compared to other editors. The highlighting affects only the comments and for a search I have to copy the item to the search window. Beside the IntelliSense of the Visual Studio I prefere the Notepad++ editor. It has a useful highlighting and searchs for the marked item in the code. It also shows me all positions of a selected item in the code, so most time I don't have to make an expicit search.
Another problem is the structur of the files in a CoDeveloper project. Is there a way to create subfolders in the "Source Files" folder of the project and put source files in it?
Bye
Improving the editor and subfolder

Hi neo,
The editor in the CoDeveloper IDE does lag behind in features. Luckily, you can use the Visual Studio environment to manage your Impulse C projects. As of version 3.20.a, we ship a plugin for Visual Studio 8 that lets you create an Impulse C project. You can build and debug desktop simulation, and generate HDL, both from within MSVS. If you have VS9, we have a plugin for that version in-house and can send to you if you need it.
Here's a screenshot of VS8's File > New > Project dialog, showing the option to create an Impulse C project:
MSVS_plugin_newproj.jpg (70.05K)
Number of downloads: 8
If you don't have a 3.20 version, please upgrade and look for the Visual Studio plugin when running the installer. You can download the latest release here:

Thanks, it works. One failure was in the ImpulseWizard.vsz file. The path "ABSOLUTE_PATH" was set to the default installation directory of the CoDeveloper and not to the directory, I installed it.
Bye.
