Hi,
I will have to run impulseC programs on ML403 board with PowerPC running Linux 2.4.
have you ever did the same???
Can i use FSl or is there any other communication interface than PCB and APU.
thanks in advance.

Hi Rock,
We have done some work on uClinux running on MicroBlaze using FSLs, please see Tutorial: PSP_Xilinx_Microblaze.chm for details. The tutorial is kind of out of date, but you can get basic idea of the procedure. We also have an example running LynuxWorks BlueCat Linux on Microblaze running on Spartan-3A DSP 1800 board, which also uses FSLs. Hope this can help.

Thanks for the reply,
But i could not able to find this tutorial.
Is this the same stuff as described in the chapter 'combining Impulse C with Embedded OS' from the book "Practical FPGA programming in C".
But for the Linux i should write the FSl driver right.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Rock,
Sorry for the late response.
The LynuxWorks BlueCat Linux and uClinux have FSL driver. What embedded linux do you use? If you need to write the driver by yourself, I can give you some basic idea. In BlueCat Linux, FSLs are added as char devices. Here is a link I found online about uClinux FSL driver. Hope this helps. uClilnux FSL driver info
