Impulse Accelerated Technologies is pleased to announce the release of CoDeveloper Version 3.10 for the Linux operating system. This release is the first to include a complete Impulse C-to-HDL development environment for Linux, and offers numerous improvements over the 3.00 Beta in the Impulse C hardware compiler and Platform Support Packages.

A command-line interface to desktop simulation and the hardware compiler tools is available, using 'make' and Perl; see the section "Command Line Tools" in the file /usr/Impulse/CoDeveloper3/Help/iAppMan.pdf for details.

The Linux release is packaged in RPM format for installation by the 'root' user, and has been tested for use with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1 or CentOS 5.1. Please note the post-installation instructions on setting environment variables, found in the section "Before You Begin" in the aforementioned PDF document.

Future Linux (and Windows) releases will be listed at http://www.impulsec.com/ReleaseFiles/.

Please send any feedback or problem reports to support@impulsec.com, or post them to the Impulse Support Forum at http://impulse-support.com/forums/.
