Flash component problem upgrading to Quartus 4.2, Error in SOPC Builder generation Options

Here's an issue for Altera Quartus II users to watch out for. When upgrading from Quartus II 4.x to 4.2, you might see this error when re-generating an SOPC Builder system that uses the Flash Memory (Common Flash Interface) component:

No reference designator specified for module ext_flash.

To fix this problem, double-click the flash component in the System Contents tab of SOPC Builder to bring up the wizard, then select the appropriate reference designator from the list for your board (the Board Target must be selected in the System Contents tab).
